Another year done

As you have probably guessed, there is no review this week. I assure you that normal service will resume next week, but for now I want to take the time to thank you all for reading my nonsense, and I hope you thought I had something worth saying. When I write these reviews, I always try to focus on the positives, especially with indie shows. I seem to have made a name for myself as a champion of independent podcasts, and I really appreciate that. Everyone reviews the big, popular shows, and it’s often easy to not stray too far outside of algorithms and “you may also like” lists. I hope that you have tried something new off the back of my reviews, and maybe even started enjoying genres not in your usual wheelhouse. If so, then I consider my job done.

What does 2026 have in store then? Well, once a month I will be posting interviews with people I consider to be important to the world of podcasting. This means writers, hosts and actors who make the world of podcasts as interesting as it is. I’m not sure what date they will be out yet, but the first one will be with A Concerned Citizen who produces the amazing Swindled podcast.
