Thank you all

Not an early review today, but just a quick announcement. I received rather mysterious email back on June 23rd about celebrating Independent Podcast Day. I don’t recall having got one on previous years, but I noticed this time. I suspect that I got this mail in error, because it was aimed squarely at podcast creators, but as you know, I am a champion of the indie scene, so I figured I’d jump on anyway and show my unending appreciation for everyone who does this for the love of the craft, out of their own pockets, with no big studio backing. People who just have a creative itch that needs to be scratched, and stories that feel like they are trying to crawl out of their skulls until they get written down.

I know that feeling, it was my impetus to start this blog. Writing is what I do (one day I might even make a living doing it, but until then I’ve got this blog, the repository of my thoughts.

Therefore, this post is just a show of my appreciation to all you indie creators out there, the people who make the weird and niche stories that are always more enjoyable than clichéd rehashes of other tales. No matter what your skill level or budget, there will be a way to get your story told BUT DON’T USE AI, NOT EVER!
